Privacy Policy for AI Gallery Cleaner

AI Gallery Cleaner (“App”, “we”, “us”, “our”) helps you analyze and clean your local photo & video library.
We respect your privacy and minimize data processing by design.

1. What We Do (Plain-English Summary)

The App analyzes photos and videos locally on your device to find similar, blurry, screenshots and large items.
You decide what to delete. Deletions are performed through Apple’s Photos framework and items are moved to Recently Deleted (Apple’s behavior).
The developer does not run any external servers for your media. We do not upload your photos/videos to our servers.

2. Data We Process

2.1 On-Device Processing (No External Upload)

Content analysis (similarity, blur scoring, classification) is executed on device using Apple frameworks (Photos, Vision/Core Image) and/or on-device ML.
We may read metadata that Photos provides (e.g., creation date, resolution, media type) to display summaries and estimates.
We do not collect biometric identifiers and we do not build any user profiles for advertising.

2.2 Optional Diagnostic Data

Crash logs and performance metrics may be shared with us only if you opt in to Apple’s “Share with App Developers”.
These logs are de-identified and controlled by Apple. We do not receive your photos or contacts via diagnostics.

2.3 Contact & Support

If you email us at appsroutine@gmail.com, we will see your email address and any information you include.
We use this solely to respond and then retain for reasonable record-keeping. You may request deletion (see Section 8).

3. What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your photos, videos, face data, precise geolocation, financial data, or contacts on our servers.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data.
We do not conduct cross-app tracking.

4. Photos & Deletions

When you delete items, the App instructs the Photos framework to move them to Recently Deleted.
Apple permanently removes those items after Apple’s retention window unless you restore them in the Photos app.
The App itself does not keep recoverable copies outside of Photos.
Any temporary thumbnails generated for previews are kept only on device and may be purged by the system or when you uninstall.

5.1 Free + Ads / Premium + No Ads

The free tier shows ads via Google AdMob. Premium removes ads and may unlock features.
All ad serving is subject to GDPR, CCPA, ATT (App Tracking Transparency), and Google UMP consent flows.

5.2 Personalization Controls

In EEA/UK: we display the Google UMP consent form. Your choice determines ad personalization.
If you deny tracking in ATT, ad networks must serve non-personalized/contextual ads.
We do not directly access or store Google’s advertising identifiers or user-level ad profiles.

5.3 Third-Party Responsibility & Safeguard

Ad requests and any related identifiers are processed by Google under its own privacy policy.
While we implement the official SDKs and consent controls, we cannot technically audit Google’s servers.
Fallback Safety: If a misconfiguration or third-party error results in unintended personalized ads, the App will attempt to force non-personalized requests until the issue is resolved.

Disclosure: Clicking ads may take you to third-party websites/apps. We are not responsible for external content or practices.

6. In-App Purchases

Payments are handled by Apple. We do not receive your credit card, Apple ID, or billing details.
Purchase history is stored by Apple; the App reads only the entitlement to unlock features.

7. Legal Bases & Roles

For EEA/UK users, where applicable, our legal bases include Consent (ads) and Legitimate Interests (basic app functionality such as counting items, showing storage).
For ads, Google is a separate controller of any data it processes for ad delivery. We are not a controller or processor of Google’s ad-profile data.

8. Your Choices & Data Rights

Permissions: You can change Photos access and Notifications in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security.
Ads Choices: Reset advertising identifiers and adjust tracking preferences in Settings.
Access/Deletion Requests (support data): Email appsroutine@gmail.com. We’ll verify and respond within a reasonable time.
Uninstall: Removing the App deletes local app data. Items already deleted through Photos follow Apple’s Recently Deleted policy.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for users 16+. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If you believe a child provided us data via support email, contact us to delete it.

10. Security

On-device data benefits from iOS security, including file-system encryption.
Our App ID uses Apple Data Protection (Complete Protection).
We follow the principle of data minimization and do not operate external media servers.

11. International & Regulatory

We aim to comply with GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California), and KVKK (Türkiye) to the extent applicable.
Because we do not externally store your media, the App typically qualifies as local-processing.
If future features require remote processing or cloud sync, we will update this Policy and obtain fresh consent where required.

12. Third-Party SDKs

Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) — advertising delivery & measurement.
Google’s processing is governed by Google’s own policies.
We do not include social SDKs or analytics that profile users across apps.

13. Links to Third Parties

External links and ads are outside our control.
We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before interacting.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and its developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from:

your use of the App,
third-party advertising services,
external links or content,
device or OS malfunctions outside our control.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect functionality or regulatory changes.
Updates will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be announced in-app.
